OT: Prayers For My Parents Please, On Board Carnival Cruise Line That They are safe.

Please prayer for my parents everyone that they are safe, they are on board Carnival Cruise Lines for their 25th Anniversary. They are on board the Carnival Legend which boards out of New York City at Pier 90 in Manhatten by the USS Intrerip. As you all know there have been a lot of people disappering at sea abord cruise liners lately. I am very worried about my parents returning to me.

Their boat was delayed yesterday because a passenger jumped ship on Saturday and my parents ship was delayed. A gentleman jumped overboard Saturday because he was arguging with his wife. I will post the link to the article here: http://articles.news.aol.com/news/ar...90004&cid=2194

Please prayer for my parents while they are on this crusie that they return safetly home to me and DH Mike. Esiaplly because my father has been falling a lot lately, because hes getting older and that he does not fall off the boat. [img]frown.gif[/img]

I'm sure your folks will be fine. There certainly have been numerous reports of people disappearing from cruise ships lately, but in many of those cases, the person was either really intoxicated or mentally disturbed/depressed. Your parents are undoubtedly much more careful and wise than that. I'm sure they'll return with great stories, great pictures and -- like everyone I've ever met who has gone on a cruise -- a couple extra pounds!

But try not to worry -- my DH and I have been on a Carnival Cruise--the cruise ships' railings are solid, and nearly chest-high on an adult--it's practically impossible to fall overboard by accident.

Your parents are probably having a very nice time--the staff are very attentive, and treat you like royalty. I'm sure they're taking good care of your mother and father. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Prayers for their safe return. My aunt and uncle have been taking 2 cruises a year for the last 5 or 6 years. They absolutely LOVE them and only have positive things to say about the cruising experience. I hope your parents are having a wonderful time.

I'm praying for your parents too. But aside from the normal concern that can come with people traveling, I wouldn't worry about them...the reason the missing incidents are making the news is because they're SO bizarre, people find them very interesting to read about. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

(And yes, your parents will most likely enjoy their cruise; almost everyone who goes on one loves it!)
